Staff at a west suburban preschool sprang into action after discovering 11 ducklings trapped inside a storm drain during pickup time. Preschool director Lisa Plassmann says a distressed mother duck appeared to lead staff to the drain, where teachers worked together to safely rescue the ducklings and reunite them with their mom.
