Fall-like weather returns to Chicago today

Temperatures in some spots have made a 35-degree plunge since Tuesday. Skies will be partly sunny today with highs only in the low to mid 60s. 

Gravity waves rippled near Chicago Tuesday

There was a fairly rare sight in the skies over southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois on Tuesday. We got a glimpse of "gravity waves" that are more typical along mountain ranges.
