Videos of Chicago police fatally shooting 22-year-old Anthony Alvarez last month in Portage Park were released by the Civilian Office of Police Accountability on Wednesday.

Twitter is refusing to remove or attach a warning to a doctored image that purports to show a Chicago Police Department tweet, despite that the post is not real and the agency has made several attempts to have it taken down, CPD officials say.

“[Adam Toledo] had two hands up in the air and no gun in his hand. That’s not an armed confrontation,” Former Rep. Luis Gutierrez said Sunday. 

Protesters said Chicago Fraternal Order of Police President John Catanzara has done and said racist things and that there is no chance of police reform while Catanzara is around.

People plan to protest Saturday in downtown Chicago to call for changes in the city’s policing.

"And this is the hardest part, these officers need to make split second decisions of life and death.
