DISTURBING NEW DETAILS: In one of the three attacks, Quavon Ewing allegedly poured a bottle of urine on a victim, covering her hair, face, mouth and purse with the urine. Before leaving the scene, Ewing allegedly stated to the woman that “she deserved it.”

A Chicago man has been charged with trying to kidnap a woman in the West Loop and two other attacks against women that happened on the same day.

A person of interest is being questioned in connection with an attempted kidnapping Sunday in the West Loop neighborhood, police confirmed Tuesday.

At about 8:45 a.m. Sunday, a woman was walking in the 200 block of South Sangamon Street when the offender approached her, grabbed both of her arms and tried to pull her inside of a maroon Dodge Plymouth minivan.

This is the second attempted abduction on this block in Chicago's West Loop in the past month.

A Hillside man has been charged with murder after police said he deliberately drove his car onto a West Loop sidewalk and fatally struck a pedestrian Sunday.

In each incident, two to four offenders approached a victim, produced a handgun and robbed the victim of their personal property.

The victim, 22, was walking on the sidewalk on North Ogden near Washington in the West Loop around 5:15 a.m. when he was hit by a dark-colored sedan.
