Neighborhood groups are calling out city leaders for their plans to house migrants in the Amundsen Park fieldhouse.

The Amundsen Park Advisory Council released a statement Sunday morning demanding that programming be brought back to the park's fieldhouse after the city planned to house migrants there.

The mayor of Chicago is allocating millions more dollars toward migrant aid.

"The point that I'm making is very simple, is that if we have enough in an emergency to address this crisis, we should have enough in an emergency to address your crisis," said Ald. Lopez.

As the city continues looking for housing solutions, some neighborhoods are not on board with the proposed plans.
