A unique Thanksgiving turkey giveaway in Chicago had the birds coming to the people, instead of the people coming to the birds. Volunteers traveled to ten locations on Sunday, hitting all of Chicago's Black and Brown communities on the South and West Sides.

Some of the storms could bring damaging winds and large hail. The National Weather Service said the severe risk exists across the Chicago area, but the most likely spots for the worst storms are south of I-88 in areas including Aurora, Naperville, Bolingbrook, Orland Park, Oak Lawn, Hammond and the south side of Chicago.
"This tax credit is definitely a blessing," said Maria Ramirez, a working mom in Waukegan. "I am working two jobs as a middle class American in Lake County. I've never qualified for any government assistance because I've made just over the minimum bracket. So it leaves me in a predicament where I don't qualify, so I have to get a second job."
The victim, 50, was hospitalized in good condition. He is one of more than 300 people shot in Chicago since January 1.
The woman was driving along South Stony Island Avenue when someone in another car opened fire.
Two people were shot on Chicago expressways this weekend. One was killed on a ramp to the Kennedy. The other was shot on the Dan Ryan near 63rd Street.
A second person is now alleging that Father Michael Pfleger of St. Sabina Church on the South Side abused them. This new allegation comes from the brother of the first victim.
Jason Nightengale -- the man who rampaged across Chicago's South Side on Saturday, killing three people and wounding four others -- posted bizarre videos on social media in the days and hours leading up to the rampage. In one video just two days before the shooting rampage, he held a gun to the camera and muttered, "no music, no music, I don't need no seatbelt, I'm coming, girl."
The 26-year-old victim was shot in the head while riding in a car on South State Street in Chicago on Sunday.
The 15-year-old girl just happened to be riding in a car when Jason Nightengale showed up, police said. He had already shot several other people at random, and he shot her in the head. Her mother was driving.
A 28-year-old woman from the Near South Side has been charged with burglary and looting after she was identified as an individual who burglarized a business in August.
