A 32-year-old woman waiting at a bus stop in Chicago's West Ridge neighborhood was fatally struck by a vehicle Wednesday afternoon.

The victim was approached by someone he knew. They produced a handgun and fired shots, striking the victim in the leg.

We are learning more about the Chicago building raided by federal agents and Chicago police last month.

Sources said a search warrant was served at the Chicago building as part of an investigation into fraud, illegal gambling and drug sales.

A man arrested inside told authorities he was the “host” and that he “loads and unloads money from the gambling machines in the premises [sic].” He was charged with gambling and a woman was charged with drug possession unrelated to the search warrant, according to police.

Chicago police and federal agents executed a search warrant Tuesday night on an unmarked business in the West Ridge neighborhood.

Police said the man yelled threats and profanities at the young students.

"A young Jewish male was on his way to evening services last night and somebody jumped him and used some racial slurs. So he came into the synagogue very shaken up. We got him the help he needed," said Rabbi Levi Notik.

A 24-year-old man was found shot in the torso near West Ridge early Saturday.

Chicago police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the driver of a vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run on the North Side.

Horace Murff took part in the armed carjacking of an older victim on Chicago's Far North Side, police said.

The 24-year-old woman threatened two men with a sharp object before getting into a nearby Amazon delivery van and fleeing the scene.

A 30-year-old man was driving on Chicago's Northwest Side when a person from another vehicle pointed a laser at the victim. When the man approached the offending vehicle, the suspect fired shots.
