Fox Chicago's Tia Ewing joins us with an update on the case against Quadajah “Holly” Johnson after a status hearing in Chicago that turned chaotic. Johnson is charged with first-degree murder in the Sept. 8 shooting death of Romeca Blackmon in the South Loop, shortly after she dropped her son off at school.

On Chicago's South Side, before the Quadajah Johnson court hearing, the boy at the heart of this case got a Christmas surprise at him home on Tuesday.

Samantha Steele, the current Cook County Board of Review commissioner, is responding to allegations made by opponent Liz Nicholson.
