Metra passengers were trapped on a train for more than six hours Tuesday night. 

Metra will close the Lake Forest and Villa Park ticket offices at the end of business on July 26 due to declining on-site ticket sales.

Metra is expanding its schedules on seven additional lines to meet growing ridership.
